Deborah Pauletta
Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, LCPC
When individuals or families look for a therapist, they have often already been carrying around the weight of their own or their loved one’s emotional struggles for a significant amount of time, while trying to find a solution. I believe that everyone can benefit from counseling and having someone outside of their immediate circle hear their story, empathize, and help them to move through challenges.
Though I may have a different lense, my clients are the experts on their own experience and feelings. The therapeutic relationship is a cooperative one where we work together to identify your strengths and build upon your resources. I am continually learning and growing my skillset so we can find the best tools for your individual needs.
I have 13 years of experience in the public school system which allows me to have a better reference on how to best support parents in their partnership with their child’s educators and advocacy for their child’s needs. My years as a parent have given me perspective and the opportunity to be the one asking others for support. I am an LGBTQ affirmative therapist and I have trained in SPACE (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions).
